Service Requirements: The client planned to expand into PET preform and plastic cap production but lacked experience in molding processes and equipment selection. They sought a one-stop solution covering everything from equipment configuration to mold matching, while requiring high production efficiency to meet the supply demands of downstream bottling companies.
Services Provided: The Huili Machinery team first analyzed the structure and raw materials of the client's target products (18g PET preforms and 2.5g tamper-evident caps). Based on the required mold cavity configurations—48 cavities for preforms and 64 cavities for caps—the team selected high-speed injection molding machines with appropriate clamping forces and injection capacities, paired with matching hot-runner preform and cap molds. After integrated testing and sample validation at the Huili factory, the equipment and molds were shipped together; subsequently, technical personnel were dispatched to the client's site for installation, commissioning, and systematic operational training.
Project Results: Upon entering production, the preforms exhibited high transparency and were free of crystal defects; the caps achieved dimensional accuracy within ±0.05mm, with the tamper-evident band bridge-breaking torque remaining consistently within standard ranges. The production line's overall efficiency met the client's expectations, featuring high material utilization and minimal waste. The client subsequently placed an order for a second set of injection molds to expand their product specification range.
